BMW & Toyota in talks to share technology
Toyota and BMW are reportedly in talks to share technology, with BMW getting access to Toyota’s hybrid expertise, and Toyota getting BMW diesel engines. A profitable future for car makers relies to a great extent on yielding the best return they can from their own products, and using the products of other car makers to augment their own range at sensible money. That imperative explains the report today that BMW and Toyota are in talks to exchange technology at which they excel; Toyota with hybrid technology and BMW with diesel engines.
2014 Lexus CT 200h (pictured) gets a price cut
The 2014 Lexus CT 200h was revealed at the Guangzhou motor show in China back in November, and now it’s ready to order in the UK with a raft of updates and a price cut across almost the whole range. Now starting from £20,995 for the CT 200h S – £1,00 less than before – the S also sees its emissions reduced to just 82g/km and extra visual appeal with a new grill that makes the car seem wider and lower. Further up the CT 200h range, the F Sport gets the new spindle grill the IS F Sport gets as well as a new spoiler at the back with integrated air ducts.

BMW today showed off the Concept Gran Coupé show car at the 2010 Beijing auto show. It's a near-production version of 2007's Concept CS show car and a good nudge at a new type of BMW due in the next couple of years. Yes, a four-door 6-series is coming.Hmm.
